In August 2021, Microsoft announced the general availability for Azure Government Top Secret. Now, in March 2022 they’ve announced the upcoming launch of a new US Government cloud environment: Office 365 Government Secret. Right now, it is under government review, and it’s thought to launch targeting availability starting mid-2022.
Microsoft is adding support of Impact Level 6 (IL6) to the comprehensive set of Office 365 Government cloud offerings, to help meet the full spectrum that government data needs.
Office 365 Government Secret cloud is built to support the US Federal Civilian, Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and US government partners working in the Secret enclave with the best Software as a Service (SaaS) capabilities.
