In July 2022, we shared with you the availability of Excel Live in Public Preview. After receiving feedback from early users, they spotted multiple advantages of this tool, such as simplifying collaboration, promoting inclusiveness, encouraging contribution among participants, time saving, and more. Microsoft then, in October 2022 decided to announce the general availability of Excel Live.
How does Excel Live works?
1.- First, click the Share tray in Teams > Scroll down to Excel Live, where you will see a list of your recent Excel files
2.- Select the workbook you want to share > Give edit access to the file with meeting participants > Click Share

3.- After having shared access, every participant in the meeting will be able to edit the Excel file directly from the meeting screen

After you have completed these steps, the meeting window now becomes an interactive canvas for all the meeting attendees to collaborate. They can interact, edit the workbook, or simply follow the presenter without leaving the meeting screen; even if the participants don’t have Excel running on their end.
Excel Live supports Sheet View
This capability enables everyone to create a customized view to sort or filter information, without disrupting others’ views.
Accessing from Excel for the Web
You can also access the Excel Live experience from Excel for the Web by clicking Share > Work Together in Teams.
Compatible Devices
Excel Live is also available for participants joining the meeting from mobile and tablet devices.
