Since 2019, we have addressed the changes the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to our work lives on multiple occasions. However, we might not notice we are living a once-in-a-lifetime change in work patterns. Now, more than ever, we as leaders must integrate technological solutions that combine all the advanced capabilities for communication and collaboration that hybrid work demands. Today, we want to talk about the new Microsoft Teams Premium.
This new offering is designed to make every meeting, from 1:1’s to large meetings, more personalized, intelligent, and secure. It is built on the all-in-one collaboration experience we already know from Microsoft Teams.
On October 12th, 2022, Microsoft announced an expected list price of $10 USD per user/month. Nevertheless, official pricing will be announced at general availability.
What to expect from Microsoft Teams Premium?
More personalized meetings that are easy to create
With meeting guides you can select a client call, brainstorming meeting, or help desk call, and the options will be all set and ready to use. Leaders can now rest assured that the meetings adhere to company policies and best practices.
AI-powered meetings to boost productivity
With AI-powered capabilities, like Intelligent Recap and Live Translation for Captions, you will enhance collaboration between teams, and as a result, boost productivity.
Intelligent Recap uses AI to suggest action items and owners, reducing the number of missed follow-ups. On the other hand, Live Translation for Captions delivers AI-powered, real-time translations from 40 spoken languages, boosting collaboration and inclusivity by breaking language barriers.
More security for confidential meetings
Leaders can have peace of mind knowing their confidential meetings’ security, with Advanced Meeting Protection. New options like Watermarking help deter leaks and limit those who can record meetings.
In addition to this, customers with Microsoft Teams Premium and Microsoft 365 E5 can leverage existing Microsoft Purview Information Protection sensitivity labels to apply relevant meeting options automatically.
