PowerPoint Live in Teams enables hybrid working and learning. It makes storytelling more compelling for users, whether they are presenting or in the audience. That is why, on October 12th, 2022, Microsoft announced a few additional enhancements in PowerPoint Live in Teams.
Cameo in PowerPoint Live
Cameo helps integrate your live camera feed into your presentations, allowing you to easily create personalized-engaging presentations. This capability enables presenters to choose how and where they want to appear on each slide, having more effective communication as a result.
Microsoft is also working on built-for-cameo templates in the PowerPoint app, as well as the capability to use the Continuity Camera on iPhones for higher-quality video feeds.

Magnify slides
Users on the audience will be able to magnify slides, to zoom into a part of the slide to see/read it better in full content fidelity, but in a private way, so it doesn’t impact other people’s view.
Presenters, on the other hand, will also have access to this capability, but to focus the audience on a specific zoomed area of the slide.

Closed captions
Closed captions will soon be supported in PowerPoint Live, this to help users with hearing impairment to easily follow along when presenters play embedded videos on their slides.
High contrast slide conversion
This soon-to-be available improvement ensures the text content is always visible after the conversion, even when it is on top of a light image.
