To help IT admins and other newly emerging roles in this field, Microsoft announced new capabilities for Microsoft 365 Admins, with the objective of managing day-to-day admin tasks more efficiently.
Here are some of the newest additions for Microsoft 365 Admins
Experience insights
It gives IT admins, adoption specialists, and change champions an at-a-glance view of core user experience metrics. This one-stop shop helps understand and improve user experience with Microsoft 365 by adding relevant data signals across usage and providing AI-powered training suggestions.
Adoption Score
This set of anonymized metrics and tools that help IT admins and adoption specialists to improve their workforce’s everyday experience. This, by understanding usage patterns and making sure users are getting the most out of M365. I.e., response rate for emails with mentions over a period of time.
New Viva admin experience within the Microsoft 365 admin center
This will help centralize and simplify deployment and administration for IT professionals, by giving them a left-to-right view of all Viva apps.
New Software updates page
Earlier this year, Microsoft announced a new Software updates page in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center Health section. Here admins can track updates for Windows and Office clients, and it shows you whether any devices or apps are behind on the latest updates.
Relevance score in Message Center
This new machine learning and service usage-based relevance score in the Message Center helps identify the most relevant changes to your organization.
Health dashboard
Also introduced earlier this year, the new health dashboard brings together key information from multiple M365 admin centers. This includes service health alerts, issues that require action, software update status, and recommendations for improving the organization’s health.
